Reflections on our residential
Mr Bass’s group
We need to give everything a go in life, always trust yourself, never pull a red string without knowing what it does and never regret anything.
Miss Headland’s group
We have enjoyed a range of activities and had a go at every activity. We faced different challenges and some of us conquered our fear of heights! It’s too hard to choose our favourite activity! We have had a wonderful time away and learnt lots of new skills.
Mrs Murray’s group
At PGL there was a lot of fun activities and new things to learn. We learnt how to rock climb, survive in the wild, trapeze jump, stack crates and abseil. The most challenging experience was the vertical challenge. We all enjoyed the assort course, zip wiring and the sensory trail. Although we were sometimes afraid, we pushed ourselves to attempt every challenge.
The food was outstanding especially the desserts every day!
Mrs Holliday’s group
Group 4 have had a fantastic week conquering their fears, showing resilience, encouraging each other, working as a team & facing challenges we’ve never had before. We miss those back home & can’t wait to show you how muddy we’ve got!
Miss Baldwin group
Amazing, nerve wracking yet unbelievable! Fun filled with archery, abseiling, giant swings, crate challenges and much more. We have learnt to tie knots, use our senses, shoots bows, be a team and persevere to reach the highest heights. PGL rocks!
Mr Hawkins and Miss Allen’s group
We have enjoyed PGL so much! Our absolute favourites were giant swing and zip lining! We are all super proud of ourselves for being so independent and brave spending time away from home and taking on really tough challenges. The staff have been very nice, and made us laugh a lot.
